Setting up RTK correction in AgIO, AgOpenGPS

Setup Guide for AgOpenGPS RTK

Tablets from our shop comes preconfigured, you need to set only the closest base station, step 7.

  1. Open AgIO window
  2. Click NTRIP button
  3. Move down and click “Client NTRIP”
  4. Make sue that “NTRIP On” button is green
  5. Set the caster name, than verify button
    centipede.fr
  6. Set the username and password
    both: “centipede”
  7. Click “Get Source Table” button and choose the closest base station
    in case your service has autoswitch function, just type in the base name
    (centipede introducing it at beginning of 2025)
  8. Close all window but AgIO, it has be run but can put behind AgOpenGPS window

Here data are for Centipede free correction service for which we provide RTK Base station.
For other NTRIP correction service you need know following data:

  • Caster name
  • port number, it is usually 2101
  • user name / password
  • in case of autoswitch: mount point name

Adapters for different tractors

To ensure you select the correct adapter, the most reliable method is to remove the steering wheel and measure the diameter of the splined shaft, as shown in the image.

In most cases, the spline count is 36; therefore, the diameter is the determining factor. Based on our experience, dimensions are consistent across certain brands.

When do I need a 4G router?

Add an external 4G router to your kit if: 

  • Tablet has no LTE modem: Your tablet lacks a built-in SIM slot, and you don’t want to rely on your phone’s mobile hotspot.
  • Weak signal coverage: The external antennas provide a stable internet connection in remote fields where standard mobile phones often lose reception.
  • Section controller setup: You are using an extra control board for automatic section control or sprayer management. This setup utilizes the router’s Ethernet hub function, where a third Ethernet cable is connected directly to the SC to ensure seamless communication between the devices.
