How can the guidance system be upgraded to autosteer?
The RTK module, currently housed in the small box, will be integrated into the steering controller. The tablet will then be able to control the steering perfectly as well.

Can the guidance system be used for night work?
Of course. The software features a night mode, and the high-precision guidance allows for precise work (e.g., spraying) even in limited visibility conditions.
Is an internet connection required for operation?
A continuous internet connection (e.g., via a mobile hotspot) is required for centimeter-level (2.5 cm) RTK accuracy. If no internet is available, you can still work with 20 cm accuracy using Galileo HAS technology.
Why is it recommended to mount the antenna on the hood for a guidance system?
Since this package does not include a tilt sensor (IMU), tilts at the cab roof level would cause twice as much inaccuracy. An antenna placed on the nose is closer to the ground, keeping the signal more stable even on uneven terrain.
What types of machinery is the system compatible with?
The system is completely brand-independent. It can be installed on any type of tractor, self-propelled sprayer, or combine, regardless of its age or model.
Will I receive help with the setup?
Yes. We provide a detailed video guide with the product, and the AgOpenGPS community also offers dedicated technical support to users.
Are there any annual license or subscription fees?
No. One of the greatest advantages of AgOpenGPS is that there are no annual software fees or costs for unlocking features. Software updates are free and continuously available.
What level of accuracy can I expect from the guidance system?
The kit offers two levels of precision: it provides 2.5 cm pass-to-pass accuracy with internet-based RTK correction (NTRIP), while it can achieve 20 cm absolute accuracy without external correction using the Galileo HAS satellite service.
How is the guidance system installed?
The antenna should be placed on the hood or the cab roof using the magnetic base, then the RTK receiver unit is connected to the tablet with a single USB cable. Only the tablet requires a power supply, for which we provide a cigarette lighter charger.
