Absolutely! If you’re not yet ready to invest in automatic steering, the AgOpen guidance system is an excellent way to start using the system. This package provides ±2.5 cm accuracy to support manual steering. It can be expanded into a full robot steering system at any time in the future by utilizing the hardware (RTK/GPS receiver and tablet).
To ensure you select the correct adapter, the most reliable method is to remove the steering wheel and measure the diameter of the splined shaft, as shown in the image.
In most cases, the spline count is 36; therefore, the diameter is the determining factor. Based on our experience, dimensions are consistent across certain brands.
